These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website sylhetambulanceservice.com and the transportation services provided by Meridian Care Transit Co. By booking a ride or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
Meridian provides non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) including ambulatory, wheelchair van, bariatric, and stretcher service within Southern Illinois and to designated regional destinations. We are not an emergency responder. If you have a medical emergency, dial 911.
A ride is not confirmed until you receive a written or verbal confirmation from our dispatch team including date, time, pickup address, destination, and quoted fare. Please double-check the details before hanging up.
Published fares are on our Services page. Fares for long-distance and recurring trips are quoted individually. Medicaid, VA, and select private insurers are billed directly when eligibility is confirmed at booking. Private-pay balances are due at the end of the ride unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Cancellations more than twelve hours before pickup are free. Cancellations inside twelve hours are billed at 50% of the base fare. Same-day no-shows (driver arrives and patient cannot be reached or has left) are billed the full base fare. We waive these charges readily for genuine medical reasons; call us.
Drivers are trained to complete transfers safely and will not perform a transfer they judge unsafe. If a patient is combative, intoxicated, or medically unstable at pickup, the driver may refuse the ride and refer to 911. In such cases the base fare may apply.
Please keep valuables with you. We are not responsible for items left in a vehicle after a ride ends, though we make a good-faith effort to return anything found.
You may not use this website to transmit malicious code, scrape at high frequency, impersonate another person, or interfere with its operation. Content on this website is owned by Meridian Care Transit Co. and may not be copied for commercial use without written permission.
The information on this website is provided "as is" for general informational purposes. We make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information is complete or current. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meridian's liability for any claim arising out of the use of this website is limited to $100. This clause does not limit our liability for the transportation service itself, which is governed by the applicable trip agreement and our commercial auto insurance policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington County, Illinois.
We may update these Terms; the current version is always posted at this URL. Continued use of the site or our services after an update constitutes acceptance.
