Who we are

A neighborhood transport service built on trust.

Keystone LifeLine Medical Transport was founded in 2014 by Robert Hayes, a former hospital logistics coordinator who saw too many families struggling to arrange safe, dignified rides for loved ones leaving the hospital. What began with a single wheelchair van out of a Newark garage has grown into a fleet of nine modern vehicles serving more than 40 facilities across Pennsylvania.

We are not a 911 service. We are the quieter, scheduled side of medical transport โ€” the one that gets your mother home from dialysis on time, gets your father to his cardiology follow-up, and makes sure no one waits alone in a hospital lobby.

"They were on time, kind, and knew exactly how to help my husband into the van. I cried when they left โ€” in a good way."

How a ride works

Booking a transport in four simple steps.

  1. Call or request online. Our dispatcher gathers pickup address, destination, mobility needs, and insurance information.
  2. Confirmation within the hour. You receive a written confirmation by text or email with driver name and ETA window.
  3. We arrive 10 minutes early. Our team handles transfers, equipment, paperwork โ€” you handle the conversation.
  4. Safe arrival, billed transparently. No surprise fees. Insurance and Medicaid billing handled in-house.
From the families we serve

Why neighbors keep recommending us.

"After three bad experiences with other companies, Keystone showed up on time and treated my dad with real respect."โ€” Daniel R., Newark
"The dispatcher actually remembered my mother's name on the second call. That's rare these days."โ€” Lisa P., Hockessin
"Reliable for our weekly dialysis runs for two years now. Same driver, every Tuesday. We feel safe."โ€” The Alvarez Family
